Closers

Closers are flat, frost-resistant sandstone tiles used to cover walls. Traditionally, they are about 20 mm thick. We break them up specifically for this use, in order to create the characteristic broken surface. For the corners of a building, they are simply broken by hand.

Our closers are supplied separately and are not glued on-to a mat, which makes them easier to handle. Each stone is solid, no additional colouring is required for external corners, and there is no need for a break line to be painted.
